Business services rendered out of this office include but are not limited to: Annual Budget and Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Benefits, Payroll, Purchasing, Tax Collection, Open Records (Right to Know) Requests, and Food Services.
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR TAXES:
- Click on the File thats at the bottom of this menu.
- Once the file downloads, open the file in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Type your property's Assessed Value into the box that is highlighted yellow.
- The discount, face and penalty amounts will populate in the light yellow rows.
Notes:
Years 23-24, 24-25, and 25-26 are available, for comparision purposes.
Please note there are two seperate light yellow highlighted boxes for each year. The boxes are different based off if you receive the Act 1 Homestead/Farmstead Reduction or not. Please call the Crawford County Assessment Office or check your bill from last year to see if you qualify or if you still need to apply.
If you alter any box other than the one highlighted yellow, please redownload the file and start again.
Altering any other box will resulting in a misrepresented calculation.
1. Assessed value is determined by Crawford County Assessment Office.
2. STEB Ratio is determined by Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development using the lowest ratio of municipalities' assessed value divided by it's market value.
3. Percentage Market Value: Pennsylvania law dictates that School District can only tax 75% of STEB ratio.
4. Millage determined by Crawford Central School District Board of Directors at the June 23rd, 2025 meeting.

Under Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law (RTKL), public school entities are required to provide access to public records. However, a request may be lawfully denied for reasons including:
- The record is protected by law (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA, School Code).
- It falls under one of the RTKL’s 30 exceptions, such as personnel records, student records, or records related to safety and security.
- The record does not exist, or is not in the district’s possession.
- The request is not specific enough or does not seek records (e.g., asks questions).
- The record is privileged, such as attorney-client communications.
- The record is a draft, internal note, or predecisional deliberation.
- Disclosure would reveal confidential proprietary information.
- The record is exempt under another state or federal law.
